Super Day
Myself and friends from work entered for the first time this year. To say we are impressed is an understatement - great organisation, fantastic routes, and great hospitality and craic made this a very exciting day - and already 2018 is on our agenda and conversation

Many thanks for your comments Irene - we are so pleased you all enjoyed your day. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2018!

Return Visit
Looking forward to the 25 mile route, a fantastic example of all that's best in Scotland's mountains. I once did the Fisherfield Six and vowed to return to this super area, now have the perfect excuse. Roll on August 12th.

If only we did!!!

This is Something Else!
How does you folk up the West do it? Anywhere else there would be major panic when confronted by severe weather problems, and 100s of competitors. But you Poolewe folk are cool as a cucumber and everything just happens so easily. No fuss, just know-how.
Thanks for everything and hope for better weather next year

Everyone Up For It
Amazed at the relaxed ambience of this fantastic event! Nobody panics despite having to make wholesale changes for safety - well controlled with cheerful banter all round - especially at finish line! PDB - Pure dead brilliant

Years of practice and many grey hairs later we have learned how to cope, and hopefully put competitors at their ease. Glad you both enjoyed it

Wet but Wonderful
Really enjoyed my first GWC in spite of the incessant rain! The interaction with stewards and organizers produced a relaxed and friendly atmosphere all round, and scenery was spectacular. Post-event food also delicious and plentiful. Looking forward to next year already!
