25 Mile Route
Just clocked your website for the first time. I remember walking this path in reverse several years ago - a superb long day in really dramatic surroundings. Must say it felt longer than 25!! Some day I would like to enter your event and do it the "right way".

Does that mean you were doing it walking backwards "the right way" or walking forwards the "wrong way"??!!

Cheats - Hound Them Out!
We were aghast, not to mention very angry, when we learned that over 100 GWC 2009 entrants had failed to offer any sponsorship. How do those people have the neck to sign a pledge to raise money - and deliver silch? This is nothing less than cheating, and they should be "outed" in the next GWC newsletter.

Although we also find this very annoying, we prefer to take a more patient, considered approach, always hoping for at least some of them to come in late. If not, they simply do not get invited back the following year.

Is Alf for real?
I've heard my old mate Alf Tupper holds records at the GWC, but don't see his name in the race results? He didn't used to be so shy - would like to meet up again, maybe get him a ticket for a Melchester Rovers match.
Get in touch mate, we have a lot of catching up to do!

Super Website
Congratulations to you all for producing this very well constructed, informative site which brings Wester Ross to life for us "Southerners" longing for our next visit to the gorgeous Poolewe area.

We echo that and hope to enter this year with some friends from Spain. Sounds a fantastic event, much more interesting than the "Old Hat" road races

Hopeful Londoners
We're hoping to get places on the 25 mile walk in 2010. We've heard such good reports about this event and want to see more of Scotland.
