Hopeful Londoners We're hoping to get places on the 25 mile walk in 2010. We've heard such good reports about this event and want to see more of Scotland. I have walked in the Highlands many times over the last fifteen years. Work and (a shortage of) money has made this more difficult, but reading about the GWC makes me want to jump on a plane again. We were only spectators at the event, and were most impressed with the fantastic organisation we witnessed at Poolewe. Transport, oodles of food (even for visitors!), hundreds of people and the coolest marshals and organisers made for a great last day of our holiday. Some friends took part for the first time and raved about it - we will definitely try for an entry next year!
