EVENT CANCELLATION

After very careful consideration, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Great Wilderness Challenge due to take place on 15th August. We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it has developed in the UK and have reached the conclusion that, for the safety of participants, organisers and volunteers, this is the only responsible course of action to take. Next years GWC will be held on Saturday 14th August 2021.

For participants that have already registered for the 2020 event, there are three options open in connection with the registration fee: you can transfer directly to next years event, or we can refund it to you via SiEntries less their booking fee or you can elect to donate the fee to Highland Hospice – our main beneficiary.  Sientries will be in touch with you in the next few days to confirm your choice.

We are as disappointed as you with this situation but we will look forward to welcoming you all back in 2021 when we will hopefully make the event bigger and more successful than ever.
