A 25 mile local course record which had stood for 33 years was broken on Saturday by Jack Blaiklock of Poolewe, who clocked a magnificent time of 3-07-08 to finish in 3rd place. The previous record 3-20-48 had been held by Donald Maclean from Aultbea since the first GWC in 1986. Well done, Jack.
