Dan Beckett from Edinburgh was hoping to complete his second  25 mile run this year, but 2 days before the event he injured himself during training.

Whilst he was unable to take part in the run as planned Dan was not to be deterred and decided he would cycle instead from Poolewe to Braemore Junction and back again - a round trip of 80 miles!!

Needless to say his sponsors were happy to support him on his 'alternative challenge'.

Well done Dan - full marks for determination, dedication and effort!!
