Due to popular demand, the 13 mile race will revert to its original route this year – the Aultbea to Poolewe linear route (see Route Maps). First run in 1989, the race was changed, as an experiment, to the circular route in 2010 and 2012. Although the latter was reasonably successful, we have had several requests from our runners for a return to the Aultbea route, and the committee has decided to run with it (so to speak!)
