This year we are introducing cut-off times i.e. Carnmore 2 pm, Kernsary 4.45 pm. We feel that allows a very reasonable timescale – approx. 9.5 hours for the whole route (average completion time is under 8 hours) – and allows the checkpoint marshals and emergency teams to finish at a respectable time. Walkers who feel unable to meet these standards are advised to consider the equally attractive 13 or 7 mile routes. Thank you.
