With great sadness we announce the sudden death of Dave on 22nd May. Dave was a popular personality and teacher at Dingwall Academy for 32 years, well loved and highly respected by peers and pupils alike. For 20 years he was treasurer of Dundonnell Mountain Rescue, and we enjoyed our  many contacts with him in that capacity, and also as part of the team on GWC day. An accomplished archivist, Dave was a renowned expert in all things Dingwall, and especially all things Dingwall Academy, both very close to his heart. We extend every sympathy to his wife Kathleen and the family at this sad time.
