GWC’s current top fundraiser Marjory Jagger from Sconser in Skye has received the British Empire Medal in the New Year’s Honours List, in recognition of her services to young people and the community in the Inner Hebrides. In particular the accolade was for her work as founder and current manager of Skye & Lochalsh Young Carers (SLYC). Marjory brings an SLYC charity team over from Skye to compete in the Challenge each year.
