Beautiful Uist

Living on the Isle of Uist gave Sarah the chance to take on her challenge close to home.  She writes:

"Just letting you know I completed my 'remote' 25 mile walk yesterday. Well, I say 25, when we checked it on the map it seems to have been 28! but far less hilly that usual.  I was tracking on my watch, but the battery pegged out at the 18 mile mark.

As I live in Uist I decided to do part of the Hebridean Way, the section which runs up the length of South Uist from Polochar in the south up to Carnan in the north.  Hard to get lost, basically keep the sea on the left all the way up!
